Vicious biting monster, boy doesn't Freefall know it. How can something so small and harmless looking cause so much discomfort?
Biting back a whimper as the gibby gurgles and continues to bite and gnaw on his arm, Freefall tries to sound casual. "So I've noticed. Aheh, cute little thing..." What he wouldn't give to fling the horrid furball across the room.

“Ah, ah!” And suddenly Axiom appears and yoinks the gibby up by the scruff of its… something and proceeds to give it a stern talking to. Apparently the scientist was feeling too cheerful to chase down every possible critter that’d invaded his lab. Then he takes notice of the huge lumbering Barrier Breaker and squeals in delight.
Gibby still in tow, the pale mech pounces the isopod-former- Barrier Breaker grunts in surprise- babbles on nonsensically for a moment and then points to Freefall. The gibby squeaks.
“Freefall! This is Barrier Breaker, he’s a dear young friend. Barrier Breaker, this is Freefall- he’s a flight engineer!”
“Uh.” Barrier Breaker says awkwardly, cradling his ex-guardian in his arms.

Feeling very confused Freefall stares and scratches the back of his furry head, then raises his hand slightly in greeting.
"Uh, hi. Nice to meet you Barrier Breaker," he says with a warm smile. Despite the bizarre scene, Axiom's ecstatic mood seems to be infectious.

Axiom nods. Barrier Breaker ducks his head shyly and fidgets the best he could with Axiom in his arms. Then Axiom he leans over and whispers something to the larger mech and Barrier Breaker nearly drops him.
“That’s not- I’m not- don’t say that.” He rumbles uncomfortably and sets Axiom down. “Anyhow, that’s the last thing you need to worry about right now. There’s someone waiting for you outsi-” And then he was being tugged into a seat beside Freefall and Axiom disappears before he could say anything more.
Barrier Breaker cycled his optics in a stunned blink before glancing sideways at the squirrel beside him. Then his energy fields flare in a blush and he looks away again.

Well, that was odd. Silent in momentary dumbness, Freefall blinks before looking over at the surprisingly shy behemoth next to him. He never would have guessed Barrier Breaker was the shy type. It just seemed so strange someone so big acting so uneasy. Clearing his vocalizer, Freefall ventures to speak.
"So...you seem to know Axiom pretty well. How did you guys meet? Er, if you don't mind me asking, that is." He wrings his clawed hands and offers another warm, if slightly nervous smile.

"I don't mind." Barrier Breaker murmured, rubbing his arm awkwardly. "Although it's kind of a weird story." He pauses for a moment, glancing between Freefall and the direction that Axiom had disappeared in before deciding they probably had a while before the pale scientist returned.
"A few years back I was a test subject for Waarheid on a place called earth. I think it was in the north somewhere, but I'm not sure." He recounted slowly, trying to recapture the strange and hazy memories of his youngest days. "Anyway, Axiom came and picked me up from there after my creator was done, well, creating me. He took me here and we stayed together for half a decade before I went to an academy."

Freefall listens with keen interest.
"Ah, so you've been to earth. What a small world this is," he beams. "I was there too for a stretch of time studying flight in organics and--" He abruptly cuts himself off before he starts babbling about his inane studies of earth creatures. Again. It's a terrible habit he's still learning to curb. "Er, I mean, please continue," he says after a polite, though slightly embarrassed, cough.

Awkwardly shifting in his seat, Barrier Breaker utters a nervous little laugh. "Well, uhm, there isn't really a lot after that. I moved out, he continued his work and we just settled a bit." If he weren't so shy there might've been something about 'glass' and 'art' in there but the big guy would die from embarrassment far before that.
Anyways Axiom chose the moment to return to their presence, holding a large, blanket covered cylinder of sorts. Barrier Breaker's optics narrow suspiciously but he keeps silent and watches as the scientist sets it gently down in the middle of the table with a proud smile.
"A friend of mine just brought this fellow in a few weeks ago." Axiom murmured cheerily, unzipping the cover. "Unfortunately I can't disclose more information than that but 'Breaker, darling?" And he pulls back the gray fabric revealing a short glass cylinder holding a pulsing blue spark. "I do believe you'll have another sibling very soon."
Barrier Breaker just stares. Then he debates if ducking and hiding behind Freefall would be worth the trouble.

Did Axiom just say "sibling"?
Optics widened, Freefall stares at the pulsing blue orb in the chamber and begins to gawk. He can't muster the sense to stop. He'd never seen a spark so openly before. The throbbing light is almost mesmerising and Freefall can't pull his gaze away. It's almost humbling, knowing that right in front of him, separated by mere inches and a thin veil of glass is a life-force of another Transformer.
Finally finding his voice, he mumbles; "H-how...w-where...where did it come from?"

"Ah, ah, that would be sensitive information. I do believe, in fact, that it would be better off for neither of you to know the origins of this little dear until I have finished making him a body. Consider it a surprise of sorts." And he gives them both a parental wink and covers the spark up once more in the safety of the soft fabric.
Barrier Breaker in the meanwhile, takes a moment to attempt to digest the new information, promptly recalls his first 'sibling' and tries his best not to recoil. Aphrodite may have been a gentle lamb to him and Axiom and the rare coworker but to say the blade headed lady's kindness was not spared on anyone else. In fact...
Barrier Breaker glances at Freefall before looking back to his once caretaker, carefully moving to hover protectively over the smaller mech before quietly asking; "Axiom, are we really... ready for another one?" A distant memory of a defaced head and the color of fluid splattered across the back of his mind.

Blinking as the fabric hides the hypnotic pulsing sphere, Freefall glances up. He'd only just realised that Barrier Breaker had moved closer to Axiom and the two seemed to be discussing something. Strange, he seems even more anxious than before. Then again, with Axiom in charge of practically all of your siblings' creation, Freefall could certainly see why there might be cause for concern.
He decides to keep quiet and pretend not to take any notice, his organic ears secretly swivelling to try and catch what was being said.

While Barrier Breaker may have had some sense for subtlety Axiom obviously did not. Or rather he did but the current occasion didn't seem to demand it, even with a guest in the room.
"Of course we are!" Axiom waved off the younger mech's concern with blithe ease, obviously quite used to it. "And besides, I'd rather not prolong the current insensate that this particular fellow has undoubtedly suffered for a while now. It's a traumatizing thing, don't you know?"
That last statement earned him a particularly startled look from 'Breaker. The big mech glanced nervously back at Freefall to see if the stranger had overheard before quickly turning back to Axiom, the beast mode legs lining his back rippling. An individual in a state of disconnection from the body didn't suffer anymore trauma than a an individual in stasis lock unless-
And then, of course, for the second time in the course of the cycle, Axiom's lab was invaded. Except this time, rather than a flood of unwelcome critters the unexpected arrival was accompanied by the sound of a small explosion and twisting steel.

As Freefall strained to catch what was being discussed his ears suddenly quivered at the explosion and he uttered a soft squeak of both shock and pain as his sensitive ears tingled from the noise and the twisting metal grated through his audio systems.
Firmly clamping his hands over his organic ears, Freefall jumped out of his seat and whirred around to see what the heck was happening.

"Axiom!" A gravelly voice announced over the clearing dust, the seething voice accompanied by heavy. "Forgive the most unceremonious intrusion but I got a bit sick of waiting outside, as I'm sure your precious Barry has so told you." While the mech who'd stepped into the room was small in comparison to Barrier Breaker, he was still at the tall end of the spectrum, and infinitely more intimating than the shy behemoth.
Axiom nonetheless, merely sighs as he brushes whatever the minute amount of dust that'd landed on his pristine white fur and turns to regard the newest intrusion with a long suffering sigh. "I wish you wouldn't do that, Aftermath."
"If haven't noticed the first time, I'm not particularly fond of being locked out." The dull mech grumbled as he walks up to the table and promptly grabs one of the energon cubes. "Anyways, you were the one who called me here."
"To discuss the terms of our contract, not to level my house." Was the curt response. Aftermath ignores him, extending a siphon from his arm and slipping it into the energy cube before finally acknowledging the presence of the other two mechs in the room.
"Huh, I didn't know you were into making fluffy ones now." The mech rumbles, turning to loom over Freefall and attempt to poke at him.

Freefall utters another soft squeak and flits out of Aftermath's reach, his tail sweeping as he dashes to hide at Barrier Breaker's side.
"I am not an exhibition!" he cries with a slight tremble and an indignant fluff. "Axiom, please tell your friend not to be so forward." He aims Aftermath a dubious glance and wrings his clawed hands. The very nerve! How could he even think he was one of Axiom's experiments?
