Contaminants? In Axiom’s drinks? Why never!
Axiom contemplates attempting to walk and gather the necessary materials to entertain a guest before a sharp pain up his back promptly reminds him of his current status. He somewhat reluctantly sends a few orders to the drones floating about the room and watches them hover around to various parts of his living quarters.
One of the small robots paused at a small control panel in the middle of the room and clicked a button that made sections of the floor whirr and shift upwards to form a sterile white table and a few chairs. Another when to grab a decorative set of energy crystals to place atop of the newly form table and yet another one arrived with a few cups and glowing cubes of energon.
“I guess they’re useful for these occasions…” Axiom mutters before turning to Freefall and generally fussing over him. “Sit, sit! As long as you are here you may consider yourself a most welcomed guest!”

Fussing being something new to him, Freefall doesn't quite know what to make of it. He makes his way to a chair, keeping an optic on the floor as he moves lest any other pieces of furniture decide to pop out. One thing he is quickly learning is that Axiom and his warehouse are certainly full of surprises.

Axiom sits down himself (with a slight wince) and crosses his slender arms as the drones plop energon cubes in front of them before floating off. For a moment he simply watches Freefall although it was more a look of awkward confusion than any intentions to study the squirrel.
“My, it has been a long time since this has happened.” He murmurs finally. When was the last time he’d entertained such an unplanned guest? And so informally! Shifting his gaze awkwardly to the table for a moment, the scientist goes through a list of potential ice breakers before haltingly asking; “So, uh, leading flight engineer?”

Freefall perks up at that.
"Oh, yes," he smiles. "I'm a leading flight technician for organic alt modes. I find them simply fascinating!" His long fluffy tail flicks once with enthusiasm. "Why, right now I'm currently researching the flight capabilities or my own alt mode."
Again, strictly not true, but Freefall really can't help himself. If given the chance he could talk about flight thesis and theories for many a long hour. Truth be told, he probably does qualify as the leading aerial and flight technician for organics, Primus knows he's studied and researched it enough.

“How very intriguing!” Although it is a tad odd considering that he’s never heard Freefall’s name anywhere before. Axiom had been a lurker in the city for a long time and he knew a lot of specialists in different field- it was part of developing the entire Beast Mods concept after all- but this particular young thing’s name had never appeared nor been uttered. He did, however, vaguely recall a news tidbit about a certain squirrelly mech falling atop a few misfortune pedestrians…
Well, who knows, maybe this leading specialist was just young and undiscovered?
“How long have you been studying in this field of work anyhow? If you don’t mind me asking.”

"Oh, since I got my alt mode," Freefall replies cheerily, rubbing the back of his furry head and causing the saggy, fleshy flap about his arm to jiggle. "Although I was studying aerial physics before then."
Those were duller days. Before getting his presnt furry alt, Freefall used to work as a medial kind of caretaker for a shipping bay which also offered repairs to the aerially gifted Transformers. During this time, Freefall was a well and trully grounded mech, his alt mode being nothing more than a squat, ugly and rather awkward buggy.
This powerless drudgery is what kindled his love for flight. He longed to be off the ground, gazing wonderously at the ships that surrounded him, and was intrigued at the mechanics behind building them. He'd also steal envious glances at those fortunate seekers and flyers that came in for repairs, admiring their aerodynamic build and flight prowess.
Whenever he could, he would teach himself anything and everything that was available to him regarding the physics and methods of flight.
But that was then, and Freefall couldn't help but smile faintly as the memory flickered and passed as he spoke.

Axiom gets the feeling that he’s probably not being told the whole truth the moment he sees the little smile cross his guest’s face. He’d worked with graduate students from esteemed scientific facilities. Even the shyest ones spoke of, and held themselves differently from Freefall. Whatever Freefall had to endure to get to his current place in the world, it wasn’t through expensive sims and experienced teachers.
Axiom doesn’t ask though. He merely smiles warmly and accepts what he is told with good grace. You didn’t ask people about things they obviously didn’t want to tell, no matter how obvious it was. Not in Praxus.
“You sound like a very diligent studier.” He murmured. Then, realizing he’d forgotten about the energon on the table he reached over and gently nudged Freefall’s cube towards him. “Drink, my dear I’m sure you must be feeling quite drained from all that walki—”
Then the lab doors slide open and half the animals in the entire construct suddenly pour into the room.

Barrier Breaker had not been anticipating becoming a perch for the ginghuts. He should’ve, considering the fact that the pests did the exact same thing the last three times he’d arrived. The giant mech felt them start landing on his shoulders the moment he stepped into the warehouse and everything went downhill from there.
With a heavy sigh that was lost to the sudden increase in noise levels around him, Barrier Breaker slowly, cautiously so as not to step on any of Axiom’s dear creations, made his way towards the living quarters. The he stopped in front of the sliding doors and idly contemplated exactly how he was going to get in without half of the warehouse’s residents following him.
Of course, the lab door automatically responded to his energy signature anyways making any attempts at a peaceful entrance ultimately futile.

Jumping at the comotion, Freefall whirrs round in his seat and watches a host of Axiom's creations rush into the room.
"Is that normal?" he asks, pointing a clawed finger at the creatures, optics wide in surprise.

“Sometimes!” Axiom answers Freefall, pulling a flying critter out of the air with practiced ease. “But not on a daily basis!” Then it’s onto trying to catch everything.

There was a very, very soft long suffering sigh through the ruckus and then Barrier Breaker found himself peering through the doors.
“Axiom?” When all he heard was more unholy screeching he threaded carefully into the room, ducking to avoid the swarms of animals. He tried a second time and was more than a bit miffed to get no reply. Then he nearly steps onto something small and fuzzy and decidedly not one of Axiom’s pet, much the less, the scientist himself.
“Oh! Sorry!”

A multitude of winged, furry, scaly and just plain weird critters make their way past the seated mechs. Freefall manages to get a hold of a benign looking fluffy creature as it plops onto the table.
Then the thundering form of Barrier Breaker nearly comes stomping on him, missing him and the furry critter by scant inches. Things just keep getting better and better.

Stranger in the house, pets everywhere, Axiom’s cheerful chirping somewhere off to his right and Barrier Breaker is left more than a little confused.
“Uhm.” He said. Then something leathery takes the moment to cover up his vision and he cycles air through his intakes once again in exasperation before continuing. “H-have you seen Axiom? There are people waiting outside… and he kind of needs to know about that.”

Freefall blinks and looks up at the towering mech, the fluffy critter wriggling and squirming in his grasp.
"Uh, h-he was right here a second ago..." he stammers uneasily, quickly glancing at the spot Axiom was last, then wincing sharply as the horrid little thing in his arms bit him. "Ow! Uhm, he-he can't be far."

“Thanks.” The words were followed by a momentary awkward pause and probably an equal amount of uneasiness before the large mech quietly peels the space fish off his face and peers down at Freefall, shifting nervously. Then he glances at the fluff ball in Freefall’s arms and rubs his arm as he mumbles; “That’s a gibby, you know? They’re a bit aggressive.”
‘A bit aggressive’ in Barrier Breaker’s terms means ‘vicious biting monstrosity’ to other people, of course.
