NAME: Freefall
ALLEGIANCE: Neutral
JOB(S): (Self proclaimed) Aerial Technician
ALTERNATE MODE(S): Flying Squirrel
QUOTE: "Gravity, why do you hate me so?"
BRIEF HISTORY:
Poor Freefall's living with a curse he isn't even aware of. Since learning about the organics of Earth, Freefall became fascinated with how such simple creatures could mimic the advance traits Transformers possess, like flying, digging and swimming. Put simply, dumb animals being able to do things Transformers can do fascinates him to no end.
The one creature that really caught his attention was the flying squirrel. Seeing them "fly" between trees, Freefall wondered how a fuzzy mammal without feathers could do such a thing. What the poor bot didn't realize was that they were actually gliding, not flying. Still it was too late. To further aid his research Freefall quickly decided he must adopt the flying squirrel as his alt mode.
Now Freefall can usually be found leaping off tall Cybertronian buildings trying to get the darn alt mode to fly. Either he still hasn't figured it out, or he's too proud; either way, Freefall is making it his life's mission to finally fly.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:
Because describing flying squirrel bots is too complicated here's a picture instead.

PERSONALITY:
Personality wise, Freefall's as polite as they come, which is a good thing as he often has to apologise to the unfortunate civilians he lands on. Frequently. He's also very opinionative and hates to be told he's wrong. This mixed with his pluckiness can quickly make him annoying.
Woe betide anyone with a flying alt mode. He will bother you incessantly about the mechanics of flight and try to fathom out if he can apply any of your flight abilities to his own alt mode.
WEAPONS/ABILITIES:
Freefall's weapons are very minimal. He only possesses a standard Energon knife and pistol which do very base, if any, damage and aren't all that useful. He's not too keen on using them, anyway.
Whilst he can't fly, he can glide a fair distance in both robot and alt mode. He's also built up quite a resilience to physical damage after his many large falls. What doesn't kill him makes him stronger!
WEAKNESSES:
Freefall will often misjudge long glides in a vain hope that his alt mode will suddenly decide to fly. It's quickly becoming a force of habit. He's also very naive and trusting, which can lead to a lot of trouble
SAMPLE POST:
Everything looked so small. The citizens down below looked like variously coloured smudges, zipping about here and there in seemingly random patterns. Considering that down below was inhabited by giant mechanical beings, this really said something about the height. A sharp breeze rushed up and ruffled through the mottled beige-brown fur.
Peering down, Freefall studied the long building face that stretched out below him. Amber eyed goggles over his optics, the fur on his face wavered in the breeze.
He'd been here before. Many times, in fact. Yet for some reason, looking down sheer buildings to the ground always seemed different every time he did it. And this excited him.
He felt the soft thrumming in his chest speed up and grow more forceful. His lips curled into a smile he couldn't contain. Even if his next sky debut didn't succeed, and all evidence pointed towards this, it would still be a fun ride down. Even if he didn't manage true flight, those flitting moments of weightlessness were more than worth the effort.
Half the fun in succeeding was failing.
Spreading his wing webbed arms, Freefall took his position and inched closer to the edge of the building.
